2nd hand iPhone - best insurance?
This might be the wrong forum so apologies. Hoping someone can help me out.
I have recently had my 3G 8Gb iPhone stolen from my handbag. Was livid as you can imagine...it wasn't insured.
So rather than pay full price for a new one from O2 I have bought a good condition 2nd hand one from eBay. I obviously intend to insure this one but I'm struggling to find a good insurance provider.
Any suggestions based on the below?
Any thoughts? Thanks everyone, in advance

Any suggestions based on the below?
- I want to insure for loss - but most providers don't seem to offer this.
- I can't know if the iPhone is older than 6months but I suspect it will be - most providers again stipulate that they will only insure iPhones under 6months old.
- I want to insure against theft - the same kind of theft I suffered recently - but a lot of providers only insure against theft with violence or threats of violence. Someone went in my bag when I was in a shop queue, no violence but it was still theft!
- I want a lowish excess.
Any thoughts? Thanks everyone, in advance

If you have a reward current account, I believe most banks offer mobile phone insurance with them. Might be worth a look0

Banks are usually the best bet with their packaged and payable current accounts, I used HBOS or check your home insurance.0

Most specialist mobile insurers won't cover handsets bought from Ebay anyway. Check first whether your home insurers or your bank will cover it.0
