What do you want to do with the CD's once burnt? A good alternative to cd's which I use (only cus I'm to lazy to repair my broken cdr mindyou..) is a memory stick. You can pick up 1GB versions now for around £14 which is very useful for backing up all your piccy's0

Also forgot to say. Would try your local PC shop as they often worked out cheaper for me. Internet was never very good for sourcing them as no matter how cheap they are for the discs the postage and packing always makes it cheaper to buy from a store0

I recommend buying from an online store like SVP but also not getting any Bulkpaq/Datawrite/RiDiscs if you are planning on keeping these as your photo archives.
They are terrible as discs used for backing up as I got a stack of discs that no longer read after a year and they have been kept in very good condition.
Get something branded like Verbatim or TDK from these stores for the few pence more as they are still cheaper than in the shops!something missing0
