Blank CDs for copying digital photos...best place to buy them?

Hello to everyone,
I recently got a digital camera & really enjoying getting into using it and practicing my photography...
I have a question about the CDs you get to copy your photos on to (my laptop has a CD-RW so this is no problem)...where is the best place to buy them?
I will probably get about half a dozen or so, therefore not looking for buying in bulk. On the highstreet I just presume that places like Jessops, Dixons etc will be the most expensive.
Any ideas for where is best to go to get value for money? thanks, Chick

Aldi do a spindle of CD's for about £7.00 though I can't remember how many are on the spindle (50 I think). They are good value & good quality also. I know its more than you wanted to buy in one go but its the only offer that springs to mind.0

To buy 6, you'll probably have to buy jewel cases as well, which bumps the price up, a spindle is cheaper. PC World sometimes have dirt cheap offers on, a local backstreet computer shop/market stall or supermarket may sell em cheap.
CD-R's are cheaper than r/w's.

Superdrug used to have packs of 10 Maxel CD-Rs for £2.99. Not sure if they're still available. Otherwise, try a large supermarket, maybe...0

Thank you all for your speedy replies, I will check out all your suggestions, may even pop to Aldi as there is a local one although I have never been in.
Wow, they seem a lot cheaper than the ones I've seen in Jessops etc, for the amount that you get but this is no surprise.
Cheers, Chick0 -

TBH you want to buy 50 or 100 from SVP.
Most places will take for 10 the same price as 50 at SVP/local INDEPENDANT computer stores.0 -
I use the aldi ones and never had a 'coaster' yetMan who stands on toilet is high on pot. - Old chinese proverb.0
