Wait until you lot in the UK get the soon to be budget, then you will have something to moan about. Our finance sector are already gearing up for all the offshore banking business it's going to bring in and they are usually pretty good in getting the heads up on these things.

Either the government cuts back a bit now, or the markets will force cuts 10X larger when the UK can not service its stupendously high borrowing anymore.

The last government have got a hell of a lot to answer to.

The government aren't going to cut back a bit.

They are going to cut back loads. The deficit is £160 billion. 80% of the squeeze will come from spending cuts. 20% from tax increases.

    VAT will go up.

Jobs will go. At least 500,000.

Taxes will go up, especially on drink and cigarettes.

    Benefits may be frozen.

    Prepare, for hard, hard times.

You havent had a pay rise well neityher have i, ive been where i am for about 5/16 months and despite me mentioning about my pay rise nothing has materialised, ive had no communication from them saying "sorry your pay review is late, its due to so and so". Its even in my cntract that i get a pay review/pay rise after so long.
