Hi

I got an iphone 3gs 16gb 6 weeks ago.

My friend got hers pinched yesterday and didn't have insurance which has brought home to me that i need it.

I contacted o2 and they only insure within 28 days of purchase.

Does anyone know of any company i can just get phone insurance. i don't have/need home insurance at the minute.

thanks
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

Your bank is the best bet. I use HBOS, and they have for £7.50 a month (£12.50 minus the reward payment), coverage. Well worth it but won't cover you if it gets nicked in a car unattended etc. Most stand alone policies have huge exclusions- some including pick pocketing so banks are usually best.

Hi, I am getting a new iphone soon can anyone confirm that the Ultimate rewards account mobile insurance covers iphone as it is very expensive (£499) and I understand that some banks do not cover the full amount.

    Thanks.

    I would agree with this.

My iPhone insurance is with NatWest's Advantage Blue scheme at around £12.50 per month but includes many other benefits. Like free Young Person's Railcard.

Previously, I was paying the same with Carphone Warehouse. So with the added benefits, it works out cheaper.

Again I agree with the bank. My insurance is 7.99 with Lloyds and covers everything.
