I agree with the OP. Yes fb as a buyer is totally meaningless, but I think it's a matter of courtesy. If you have been a good buyer it's nice that the seller acknowledges this.
It's a bit like giving way to someone on the road and having them sail past you without acknowledging you. Just as it takes no effort for lift your hand to say thanks it also takes very little effort to leave fb - it can even be done automatically if sellers can't be bothered to thank a customer personally. Good manners cost nothing.
Personally I wouldn't give repeat custom to a seller who didn't say thankyou.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Feedback is optional. But sellers' feedback is meaningless - all buyers are 100% as it is only possible to leave positives.
True - "positive" or "leave feedback later" are the only options. As a seller, I now leave feedback as soon as the buyer has paid because they have kept their end of the bargain.0
