Rabbits!

Forgot to ask - do you think I should leave them out on the grass or in the bushes ? And what do I bait them with - I know rabbits eat most plant stuff but I wondered if there is anything they might find especially attractive?
I have domestic rabbits, and I would list the following things as being particularly irrisistable to Rabbits
Parsley
Coriander
Basil
Apple
Carrots/Carrot tops
Strawberries/Strawberry Leaves/Raspberry Leaves
Dandilion leaves
Couch Grass
Any other plants you don't want them to eat
I find only one way works to stop them, and that is barricading off any plant you don't want them to eat!0 -

Other options are try live catching and moving on a few miles, get someone with a shot gun to dispatch it humanly. Usually where there's one rabbit there's many more.
Won`t it just return to its burrow with mama and papa rabbit?Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).

Thanks Sally - thats useful info! 2 horrendous looking traps arrived this morning - took ages to work out how to assemble them but now they are looking good. They are sitting out on the grass (unbaited as yet) in areas where there was most rabbit poop this morning. I will bait them late this afternoon which seems to be when the rabbit mostly appears.
I just hope I don't find any blackbirds etc caught in the morning - they like fruit as well! Will let you know how I get on.ELITE 5:2
