Rabbit is becoming popular these days so why not make a rabbit pie or stew?0

Rabbit can taste a bit gamey, I would suggest a cooking in strong flavours like thyme, celery and red wine. A curry would also serve. Lets face it, you have been fattening them up.Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).

If your really need want to stop it you need a Dug in wire fence this is the only thing that will stop it with doing anything to the rabbit.
Other options are try live catching and moving on a few miles, get someone with a shot gun to dispatch it humanly. Usually where there's one rabbit there's many more.0 -
Thanks for the replies. The b***** thing has now got into the back garden - don't know how it managed that unless rabbits can climb walls! Its shredded around 8 small lettuce plants that I put in 2 days ago and clearly knows its onto a good thing.
Anyway, now you've told me about rabbit traps, I have ordered 2 which should be delivered on Friday. Chances are I won't have any lettuce left by then but not much else I can do.ELITE 5:2

Forgot to ask - do you think I should leave them out on the grass or in the bushes ? And what do I bait them with - I know rabbits eat most plant stuff but I wondered if there is anything they might find especially attractive?ELITE 5:2
