Windows 7 Showing no virus protection

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

This seems to be an ongoing problem of Windows Security not seeing Kaspersky products. I have found some suggestions for fixes on vista I guess they may work on Windows 7 too.

- are you sure my friend, the issues you [ the URL ] have posted are all related to Norton / MacAfee / Vista, for which there was a problem and nothing to do with Win7 or Kaspersky.

- I was on the KAS Beta team pre Win7 release and though it's a very long time ago now I'm not aware of any general comparability issue since the middle of last year.

- BTW, the ' reporting to ' requirement ( wscsvc ) of win7 is totally different to Vista.
