                    I ordered a watch and a phone from Drumkinnons.co.uk.
Was waiting 1 week, 2 weeks.... over 1 month but the items did not arrive. No REFUND or explanation, they just hope that customers will forget about the order.
This scam web site advertises many bargains, like latest PC for £1.50 and many other non-existent bargains.
Should be closed by Trading Standards.

            The perils of Dropshipping....
Although I couldn't find any £1.50 PC's, it is worth remembering that if something looks to good to be true, then it usually is.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

            Inflation, lol
That laptop's price now is £2.10
Pity this web site doesn't allow to put links, but if you search the drumkinnons web site for:
 Lenovo ThinkPad T500 2055 - Core 2 Duo P9400 2.53GHz-15.4"WSXGA+-3GB RAM-200GB 7200RPM HDD
 .
 that is where it is.0

You can post links here, you just need a few more posts
 You mean this one
Don't get why it was so cheap, most of their stuff is reasonable... why list at an obvious too-good-to-be-true price?Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Thank goodness someone else has discovered the problems with Drumkinnons! Have you seen the list of sites he is operating - all from one postcode? Take a look at my review of Drumkinnons on Sitejabber to get the details. I have spent months chasing a refund from this joker and never got it from him! I have complained to Consumer Direct and on through to Trading Standards - guys like this have to be stopped. He just goes on taking peoples money .........nothing is a bargain if you don't get it! In my case it was an appropiate price for the item which I never did get. If you have a problem go to Trading Standards...if they get enought complaints maybe they will stop him.0

"Have you seen the list of sites he is operating - all from one postcode?"
Ummm - that's pretty much common practice isn't it? One registered address but multiple businesses?
I am a director of a number of businesses myself, and have approximately 100 websites in my name. Do you expect me to have separate addresses for each of them?
Besides - I smell some spam/sabotage going on here. Two newbie members and first posts are running down a business that seems otherwise legitimate?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

No spam/sabotage here - just trying to prevent others getting into the same difficulties as I did with these people. Maybe from your sites you actually send people what they order which this company in my case (and in many others) didn't do. Call me old fashioned but when I enter into an agreement with someone to supply me with goods and send them my money promptly - I expect them to honour it. You know what - we all have to start somewhere with membership. I have done my homework on this and if others did they would see lots of other complaints as well. The lesson I have learned from this is to read the reviews and then decide if I want to deal with a company or not. The days of letting people get away with taking "money for old rope" is over in my book.0

I sometimes wonder if it would be useful to include the ip address of new posters for a few weeks ? I smell a bit of black opts going on here to. Basically, bad mouth it - other people look at it and say 'it's not that bad'. Kinda cute. It's running on a cheap VPS that seems to be struggling to handle the 500 or so visitors that were online a while ago - but the whois checks out and it has a valid (but cheap £10) go daddy ssl cert. There are plenty of mis-priced zero value items that you can add to your cart etc, but I've not tried to buy them. Looks a bit badly set up and may be a bit badly run? but not really malicious.
As for the 'no refund' - they appear to accept Paypal which is relatively safe - so I'm not convinced this is an issue - but I personally am not drawn into buying from them.0

The use of Paypal was one of the things that encouraged me to use the site - however they delay contact and stall untill the 45 day period to claim your money back via Paypal has lapsed. Believe me I have tried EVERY avenue with this company to get a refund before I would post any review. As for being malicious - that is irrelevant. If you pay for something you should get it and if the company can't get it.....then you should get your money back. Simple as that.....end of story. Quite frankly if discussing this is getting them business then show over for me!0

On balance, I'm not inclined to at this point. Even the most awkward munters I've ever had to file paypal claims against have resulted in me getting money back without much effort.over_twentyone wrote: »Believe me....
Can you explain when you made your claim and how they managed to avoid you getting refunded ? That *would* be a scam if you can substantiate it.0

I made the claim to Paypal on 2nd June after being promised on several occasions by the company - a refund that never came. This is the reply I got from Paypal wnen I lodged the case. I have cut and pasted it exactly for you.
"I checked your account and this transaction was completed on 29 March 2010.
To recover the amount associated with this transaction I suggest that you open a non-receipt case against this transaction.
However, once the case was filed PayPal will close this case for it was over the 45 das timeframe but the case will be noted to the seller's account.
PayPal can re-open any claim for investigation within 180 days if we
receive multiple complaints about a particular seller. We will contact you by email if this is the case.
I suggest that you continue to contact the seller regarding your refund and hope that you can reach a mutually satisfactory outcome. You may also contact the Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards for further
 investigation.
 Thank you for choosing PayPal."
I never got the money back via Paypal - I have now approached my card company to see if they can help.0
