Phone contract issue
Hey, dont really post here but i come for some advice.
Basically a lady friend of mine signed a mobile contract in her name a year or two back but it was for a friend (stupid i know, but she's too trusting in people) who supplied his own bank details. Said friend is no longer friend and now she has debt collection people comming after her with unpaid bills and the like. Now she's pretty annoyed/upset at this and the guy (but also annoyed with herself) and especially as she cant get in touch with him.
Is there anything that she can do with this? Or is it a lost cause and she better hope that she can get in contact with the guy to pay up or just have to pay it herself?
I think, I sadly know the answer already but if there are any other options then it'd be good to know!

yeah i figured as much, feel sorry for her that she's trusts a so called friend and they do this to her.
guess it's going to be a lesson learnt for her.0 -

yeah its blocked. apparantly she tried to get it changed in to his name last august, they agreed and said it would take one month. She thought nothing else of it and now about 8 months later she is told that they couldn't switch names because of the guys debt, persumably has bad credit etc.0
