My brother-in-law has been emailed by one of the lottery scam companies that ask for money before you get your huge prize. Thankfully he didn't pay out anything or give them bank details but unfortunately he did give them some personal details - full name, dob, some address etc. How worried should we be, and what can we do to prevent these details being used fraudulently? Any help and advice gratefully received.

I'd ask for help on www.scamwarners.com and www.419eater.com forums they are best equiped to deal with this.
Or PM me as I am an active member over there
Can you perceive the irony of this statement.0 -
But not too bored to reply though.

Seriously though, I hope nothing bad happensSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
