My brother-in-law has been emailed by one of the lottery scam companies that ask for money before you get your huge prize. Thankfully he didn't pay out anything or give them bank details but unfortunately he did give them some personal details - full name, dob, some address etc. How worried should we be, and what can we do to prevent these details being used fraudulently? Any help and advice gratefully received.
