    If you live in coast paint wont last as long as in land due to sea air, maybe 5-8 years on 15 year paint

    Have you thought about getting a quote for rendering? Rendered houses look nice.

    don't be tempted by the "never paint your house again " companies that spray stuff on your house , 2 of my neighbours have had that done , it's lasted less than 6 years on the most recent one and surprise surprise my neighbour tried to claim in his guarantee and the company no longer exists
