It is extremely rare for paypal to agree to a partial refund if it goes to dispute. What will actually happen is that if paypal find for the buyer they will tell the buyer to send it back and once it tracks to delivery a full refund will be issued.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sexist rant coming on. What's happened to women these days? Take them all off and replace with velcro. Five minutes.......done. If a bloke can do it - well.
As for buying a used duvet cover?????0 -
They cost next to nothing new. And I view it the same as buying used underwear, a thrifty step too far. In the warmer south bob, some of us wear little, if anything, to kip.0

Where we live there are not many shops that sell these things at reasonable prices so we generally buy on the mainland. They cost next to nothing new. And I view it the same as buying used underwear, a thrifty step too far. In the warmer south bob, some of us wear little, if anything, to kip.
That said DS has one a friend gave him and one I got from the charity shop- if you wash them on a reasonable temp and give several rinses they are absolutely fine!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Not if you want good quality ones they're not cheap. Also not everyone lives in distance to all these discount stores or a Tesco that sells cheap ones made by exploiting labour in the third world. I know of quite a few parents that have bought hardly used High quality Duvet covers for their children off ebay that will last far longer than the cheap ones and cost a fraction of the price than buying them newThey cost next to nothing new.
Just to say I may be North but we do have central heating and Flushing toilets! Anyway i'm a Sheet, Blanket and eiderdown man myself never got into these new fangled Duvet things
I dread to think what you do with your Duvet's then!:eek:And I view it the same as buying used underwear,0 -
Having spent a few years working, east and west, in Scotland, the reply was tongue in cheek.
My parents were exploited workers, in this country. My Ma made covers for our eiderdowns, in about ten minutes flat. My Aunts still do it for duvets.
And by the way, have you ever watched someone sleeping? Not a fetish for me, a necessity at one time. It aint a pretty sight.0 -
I wouldn't buy a used one for myself but i have done for the kids i think i see it as mcfly (nakedness and all :rotfl:) kids don't generally sleep naked or do the things adults do in bed  so happy to buy those and give them a good wash.0
