    Are you all seated???

I have... cleaned the bathroom and the toilet... not just a once over but a darn good scrubbing!! I even mopped the walls!!

I think I may have begun 'nesting'.. which is not a good sign!!

Just waiting for OH to go scrub the higher up tiles I cannot reach.. and the mouldy bit off the ceiling..

All the paint and tools are in the shed :D
All the dirty laundry is in the basket and in the kitchen to be washed.
    All the recycling/rubbish is out

I will give the bath a scrub once OH has finished standing in it and then put my new shower curtain up and the new bath mats in. The small sink in the loo needs a scrub too but I will do that shortly.

    Then I will shower myself!!

Dopey DD1 has lost one of her contacts already.. this is going to be fun.. She can go ask for another one tomorrow herself!

    Both WM's on
DD3's bed stripped and duvet cover and sheet being washed.. duvet in next!!

I've dug lots of chicken poo, compost and sand into one flowerbed, and the other is ready to do. (I will get some pea shingle, but for the moment am using up the stuff I've got... I've decided there is no point trying to do any planting till the autumn now, so will concentrate on sorting the soil out).

Handwashing done. Just grabbing a couple of clean towels to help dry it out before bunging it on the line to dry. Yet another job that's been hanging over me for WEEKS, with the basked of handwashing getting in the way the whole time.

Hope to get the house tidy and mostly clean by the time I go to bed :D

    Afternoon all,

We haven't been for a walk or to the garden centre. OH arrived as Ds2 was having a major paddy because i'd taken his sonic screwdriver off him for telling me to shut up. Ds1 was still in bed despite me telling him 30 mins before to get ready. After a lot of faffing we eventually got in the car only for Ds2 to carry on being rude so OH drove us home and left me to deal with it. Ds2 hasn't long calmed down, he wouldn't listen to me and kept laughing and running away when i was trying to talk to him so his sonic & dr who have gone in the bin. Ds1 has said it's all my fault they don't behave. He's been sent to clean his room. :( I've had enough, honest to god is it too much to expect them to behave. I can't tell Ds2 off without him going into meltdown.

    Before that i

    Put dry dishes away
    Washed up
    S & S Kitchen
    Folded & brought washing in
    Put another load out
Weeded & swept the path with Ds2's help 10 minutes before meltdown and he was perfectly behaved

hollyh - if it is any consolation DS2 (nearly 6) was sent away from nice sunday lunch for burping tunes. He was so annoyed that he carved his name and a picture of a broken heart in the back of my leather sofa with a junior hacksaw. He is not allowed within 5 metres of me or I may resort to chopping his ears off with said junior hacksaw.

oh.. I know what you will all find disgusting... lol

I still have Tiddles potties in the bathroom.. they were cleaned and stacked in a corner! Somehow over the course of the last few months of sleeping I have been doing.. there has been development of a repugnant smell in there.. I discovered these said potties both full of wee and RANCID.. and hidden under piles of junk.. I HAD looked for the smell and assumed as i couldn't find anything it was a cat sneaking under the bath.. how wrong was I?! They are both steeping in harpic!.. and will go in the shed this time!

I can now face going into the bathroom and breathing!

OH scrubbing tiles as I type.. :D.. He is rather wonderful :D

Oh.. and a giggle.. I have found some hair dye KH must have bought to use before he left.. PMSL.... amused me while I binned it.. it definitely did little for his pulling power.
