:T yippeeeee. very considerate buyer we sold our item. we are on a grand total of £3.99 not including expenses. at least its a start though got 2 more items with bids on them and 23 without so heres hoping
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • Well my total (auctions not finished yet) are running at £12.48, which is great, I've got loads of watchers so I'm hoping I'll get lots of last minites bids that will push the total way up.
I love the last hour or so watching to see what happens.

Yes - me too. I'm at £15.88 at the moment - some ending tomorrow and some mid-week. From past experience I should at least double that. I've been selling on EBay for three and half years now and I've noticed I used to get lots of bids early on, but now most people seem to watch my stuff and bid on the last day.

I'm going to list some more later in the week because I'll be away next weekend. It's not going to make a huge dent in my debt but I usually sell items which I get free via my job, so it's all profit, thankfully!
  • Wooopeeee My ebay so far stands at £2.97 !!! Heres hoping it gets better over the next few days.... Or I could be making a loss!

Turbo lister is fab. Its so much easier to list, so now I have the bug and am going round my home with the camera snapping anything that doesn't move and that I do not like!

Pets and children are keeping out of my way!!!

  • I'm really disappointed. Listed some items on Thursday including 2 Karen Millen dresses and a couple of Monsoon items. No bids yet and only one or two watchers. This things usually fly off ebay. I have never actually worn any of these items and they cost me a fortune, I amm just trying to get something....anything back for them. I always start my auctions at 99p to try and encourage more bids mut this time it just doesnt seem to be happening.

  • The more the merrier.

I literally list anything that I don't use any more, unwanted gifts, books, things I've bought too much off and have gone off, freebies, and clothes.

You'd be amazed at some of the stuff that I've seen for sale on ebay and that has sold.

I've found that my things start off much slower and then the bidding picks up over the last 12 hours. I've got 44 things listed at the moment and only 8 of them have bids on, with a total of £24.

We ordered some rugs from an online company, good expensive rugs. They arrived and are great. Then the next day they delivered one of the rugs again. It was just dumped outside the house. So this rug is worth about £99, and seeing as no one signed for it, and they have made no effort to get it back, we have kept it. Of course, we have no need for the rug, so ebay it is.

I'm thinking: £50 BIN, collect only. If it doesn't sell, i'll lower the starting price and put a courier cost for delivery. What do you think? That could drive up my profit for september!
