Just wanted to say THANK YOU to the OP for this one. It made me get off my ar*e and list all the things (well, nearly all) that I'd been meaning to list for ages. As a result my auctions end tonight and I already have over 500 quid! Whoo hoo! This couldn't have come at a better time in a month where we are really really struggling to pay the mortgage (it's bounced once - argh!) So thank you thank you thank you!Debts @ lightbulb moment (13/06/2006) - £59,842.23  All commercial debts now clear!!! :T Debts April - £20,000 to family (incl extra £10k borrowed for house deposit). My listings have finally got off the block and should bring me in about £40 - which is fab. This couldn't have come at a better time!!"A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength. Do not be pursuaded into buying what you do not need or cannot afford." Quaker Faith & Practice 1.02.410

Have just had last Thursdays 5p auctions finished and now have a grand total of £67.77 for September. Which is fab as some of what I have sold were freebies. It definately means I have more room in my drawers and cupboards, just hoping everyone pays up soon so I can get them posted on the weekend and start on the next lot.
Now what else can I find to flog

Oh god
After reading everybody else's HUGE e-bay profits I am so embarased to report that at the moment mine stand at a measly £19.43 paid for & another £10.64 of curent bids
I hang my head in shame!
I will persevere and hopefully i will not finish too far behind everybody else. On the plus side it's an extra £30+ that will go off my debts that i hadn't planned.

Exactly. To me, the whole challenge isn't really about earning more than everyone else (there's no way I'm going to match ehallett and brassic!!!!!!!!), it's about motivating each other to get rid of all the stuff we really do not need and paying it off our debts.
If Miss A has 'huge' debts of £3000 and makes £60 from eBay, that's going to mean just as much to her as it will to Mr B who makes £800 to knock of his £20,000 debt.
I hope I'm making sense at this late hour, I've had a couple of Malibu's!!!!!

it's a shame we don't know each others ebay name to be able to watch how things are going.0

All mine are done now, can't wait for it to go across to my account so I can pay some debts! :T I'm also going to take advantage of the free motor listing on ebay this w/e. Sadly it's not a db9 <drool>, cos that would sort everything out :rolleyes:Debts @ lightbulb moment (13/06/2006) - £59,842.23  All commercial debts now clear!!! :T Debts April - £20,000 to family (incl extra £10k borrowed for house deposit).
