If its under 15mins walk max then it would be ok,
but once it gets to walking over 20minutes each way just to sign a piece of paper then leave, its just pointless and a waste of the person's time.
Why because they've got work to go to, oh that's right, no they haven't.Wee_Willy_Harris wrote: »I don't recollect making that particular rule. If you aren't happy with it, I suggest you take it up with your MP.
And please explain the Cpt Haggis?
Already have, and there's nothing they can do about it, it's local government rules and my MP said he couldn't do anything.
And Haggy, you know fine well, change your posting style if you want to remain anonymous :rotfl::rotfl:Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

What? You believe that our legislative body can't legislate?
As for Haggy, I have no idea who or what you are on about. This is my first, my one and my only identity on this site.0 -

No I believe central government will interest themselves in certain things, and if it doesn't interest them then they will leave local government to set the rules.

Okay, if you say so, I believe you, thousands wouldn't :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

Leaving aside the simple fact that the DWP isn't under Local Government control, who do you think decides WHICH rules Local Government can set?0 -

We ALL pay tax. Even the unemployed. The true irony is that the poorer you are, the more tax you pay as a propertion of income.
Ahh another foolish statement from a foolish unknowledgeable little man.
Firstly the unemployed DO NOT pay any tax whatsoever.
As JSA is under the tax-free allowance, and even if you had earnt over the limit from a job that year, you still get the full rate jsa, don't have any money deducted from it in tax.
Housing benefit and other benefits are NOT taxable income.
And so unemployed people are NOT paying any tax.0 -
