As long as it's not a Multiroom TV installation, then yes they should be able to.

no no its only for the television in the front room. So this should be ok and then the phone line and bb lite will be installed at a different date? Also sorry for so many questions but will they need to fit a new phone line or can they just reconnect the old bt landline which is all still there just not active?

The reconnection of the phoneline is done by BT Openreach on behalf of Sky.Sky's installers will run phone extention from the master socket to the Sky HD box & to where the Broadband modem will be.
Although dont take that as 100% gospel as I left Sky when they released the broadband but I'm 99.9% sure that's how it's done.

No,BT Openreach are like the engineering side of BT & dont have any reason to access customer accounts apart from fault history. All they'll get from Sky is stuff like a work order, provisioning details for the phone & broadband plus phone number.
And Sky dont do credit checks.

Just incase anyone else is in this position ,I have spoken to sky this morning and they have confirmed that my sky telly will be installed on the 15th and then roughly two weeks after that my line will be put in and bb modem will be sent out to me, recieved the viewing card and contract in the post this morning so makes me more confident now that it has all gone through
