Great value Mitre Saw for cross, bevel, mitre and compound mitre cuts. Features motor brake, aluminium base, pre-set mitres, spindle lock and extention wings.
1400W
Max Cut 135 x 60mm
Cross, Bevel, Mitre & Compound Mitre Cuts

By the way, you get more attachments that aren't shown in the pic.

I bought one of these with plastic base for more than this. They are excellent.

Normally £50.00 act quick to be sure of this bargain.

I couldn't be without mine now so I have just ordered a spare one.

AND a 10" for just £35?? ---- Genuine No Brainer!!

Also worth thinking about - Screwfix pay £10 to you (As a customer) if you recommend someone that then goes on to make a purchase.

Screwfix started using them after ditching their other brand leader (Ferm) but I think that it was only a name change.

If I am not mistaken they make the "Homebase's own" tools as well.

They are pretty well made and quite accurate.. Very easy to use.

I'd be very wary of the cheaper powered mitre saws. From my experience of oneof the argos ones a while back , if you want them for anything which requires any real accuracy like picture frames they may be useless.

  • Nah really cheap is the £14.99 jobbie they did in January!

Shame when I came to use it for the first time a fortnight ago it was broken (plastic under the handle had shattered)....they gave me a refund but that was a bit of a bind cos I actually wanted the saw!

Don't forget to add 4.95 for "packing & handling" - postage is supposedly free but how does it cost almost a fiver to handle and pack something that's already in a box ? -

They offer free shipping if you spend £40, or it's £5 to post for lower value orders. Or of course pick it up in one of their shops.

Keep your hair on mate. He was only trying. Might as you say not be a better deal, but still 'similar' and a decent price.
Not sure who the 'idiot' is here.
