I ordered one from Vodafone last week and have not heard anything from them other then that the credit check had been completed and had come back fine. Not heard any more from them since. Beginning to regret ordering from them already.

Orange did have it in stock last week but the websites showings its oos, ive got an email alert setup to tell me when they're back in stock

Orange have branded the c%^p out of the Desire. Their branding 'add ons' are reported to have slowed the handset down and taken away lots of memory and HTC's own software which you can't get back (unless you reflash with the vanilla firmware which will screw your guarantee).
