The thing with docking tails is that because it has to be done when the pups are young you could say the dog will be a working dog when in fact it won't be.

I've been reading your story since the beginning and am so absolutely delighted that its all worked out in the end. Bruce looks like an amazing chap and you'll have such fun together - and as someone else has said - Suki will be smiling down on you knowing that you'll give him such a wonderful life - just as you gave her.0

Aww Empty[ockets, I have been offsite for a few days, I've just read your other thread, thanks to Hethmar. He is gorgeous, I had a wee tear in my eye (well more than one TBH) when I read about his reaction when you met. Lucky boy, and lucky you. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Aww thank you for all the lovely comments about our handsome Bruce.
It's been a busy, hectic and interesting day for us all, and Bruce now looks about as tired as we feel! He's had two good walks, been with us to visit family (where he behaved perfectly in his crate in the car!). He's been checking out the garden, following us around everywhere, shouting at the neighbours dogs telling them to shut up lol.
Very hectic, but fun too.
Training is going to be 'interesting', he's full of character and will-power :eek:And we think the lady may have been lying when she advertised him as 'almost housetrained'... he's been c*cking his leg everywhere with me running after him with the mop
But, I suppose these are the joys of having a puppy again, and someone else's puppy at that. Will take us time and patience to correct a few things, which we have plenty of."Your life is what your thoughts make it"

R.i.P our beautiful girl Suki. We'll love and miss you forever
