Hi everyone,
I'd like to introduce you to our new arrival. His name is Bruce! We've only had him home for an hour and already he loves the camera, which is good as I know some of you were waiting for pictures

He is ever so handsome - congratulations!! He looks a character!
His tail is docked - which it shouldnt have been (unless he was intended to be a working dog, which is unlikely) as tail docking has been illegal for a while now. My old terriers tail was exactly the same, as is my dads jrt. At least it hasnt been taken too short though, which can cause problems for the dog.0 -
Lovely boy isnt he. The smooth haired are my fav patterdales - if you give them the right food and supplements that coat will glow like a wet seal.
Yes, docking is illegal now unless you can provide proof that the dog needs it done for medical purposes or he is a working dog, but having said that people still do it occasionally
No matter, he has a good and safe home now anyway.
