Recording from iplayer or the radio?

to do a 1-step from iPlayer to burn a CD is nigh impossible anyway. You can easily burn any MP3 onto a CD using Windows Media Player, assuming that you have a CD Writer in your computer (nearly all do). Get a pack of blank CD-ROMs from the Pound shop & give it a try.0

Well, I suppose your next question might be:-
'How do I make an audio CD from an mp3 file?'
Well no actually, I'm getting the feeling I'm beginning to bore you all with this now, I know I'm boring myself!! However as I now have the programme saved onto my computer and it plays back as an MP3, I can spend a bit more time researching how to put it onto audio CD. My mum isn't back for a few days yet, I was just panicking as the programme would expire shortly on iplayer.
Unless of course, you know a quick and easy fix to convert it!!!
Thanks

most CD burners will let you burn a playable audio CD from an (/some) mp3(s) (or wavs, as you might save in Audacity). Just make sure you select the "burn as audio cd" option, not burn as data disc. It'd need to be <80 mins, so you should be fine there.0

If you have iTunes on your PC, you could import the mp3 into iTunes and burn a CD from there.0

Freecorder toolbar works well.
Audacity will only work if your soundcard allows it, as I found out.Happy chappy0 -
Once you've downloaded the MP3, simply open Windows Media Player, find the file and select the "burn to CD" option. It will be automatically set to burn correctly for playing on a CD player, but you may get a message about copyright protection. Make sure you select the option that says you do not want it copy protected, or it will only play on your PC!!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

of course, you shouldn't use it to record anything that has copyrighted material in, but you can record anything passing through your soundcard with (free) software such as audacity. In the particular case of iplayer, there are tools (at the end of a google search) that will let you download the file direct from the bbc site (quicker ane easier than recording a stream in real time).
