Slightly confused with Orange
I went and upgraded my phone today at Phones 4 U and they signed me into an 18 month with Orange and gave me a free Desire.
However, they said that in September when my contract was due to end, they will revert me to the normal Dolphin 30 tariff or I can haggle a deal with them.
My only worry is that now I'm tied down, they will charge me £30 a month and not bother adjusting my tariff.
Also with Dolphin tariffs now you get 500mb data, but when I originally signed the deal I got 25MB loyalty data. Do I get the 500MB now as well, slightly confused by how it works.

re the 25mb id say it was extra to the 500mb0 -
Righty, because originally the tariff had no data on it you see, so thats why I was confused. The guy in Phones 4 U said the Dolphin tariff I was on, may be different to the one I have now.0

"may" be different. Check yourself to be sure. Also, an extra 25mb on 500mb is nothing. Im a heavy user of data services.. I stream music and my news app has many RSS feeds which update every 5 minutes. Because of the way my blackberry compacts data I've only ever been able to reach a maximum of 75MB of my allocated 500mb. Not sure HOW I'd actually hit that limit, but 500 or 525mb won't make a difference to your package so don't accept it as some sort of 'deal' to get you to sign on the dotted line0

This was Orange rententions 18 months or so ago offering me 25MB loyalty which as far as i knew then was the only net I had. I've only had a handset upgrade and not a tariff one from Phones 4 U, so it'll continue as it was.0
