Dry dog bags

thanks Sou!!! that's a very kind post
If you get your dog pj's we demand photos!!
I could do with one of those dog bags, I went to the seaside yesterday and Badger and my mum's lurcher had a lovely run in the sea. When we got back, I was getting a cuppa and I heard bumping about upstairs - I was about to go and investigate when the loopy lurcher came running downstairs looking very pleased with herself...
I thought no more about it till late last night when the OH went to bed.... and shouted down to me, sounding perpexed.. "what have you been doing up here...? the bed's full of some wierd, gritty, smelly stuff!!??" :rotfl:
Turns out that the loopy lurcher had dried herself off very nicely in the clean bed sheets!!!
ETA - Mrs E - you bath your cats!?!? brave woman!! Are your forearms not sliced to ribbons every time you try to get the cat near water??0 -

They have to have a chance to drink first, of course.Don't you dare think about changing
Some people might not like the opinions you hold, or what you say but you always post trying to be helpful and are never rude or abusive or deliberately try to upset people, even when you disagree with them (that's not to say some people don't get upset but more about the interpretation they put on your opinion).
Personally I think you are the best kind of poster - you are honest but never cruel (imo) and you are consistently you - none of this nicey nicey if you want an answer but a nasty git if you are responding to other people's problems - you're always down the line :DSou
she's right.
I found them quite good for sand! The overheating point is a good one, though. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hmmmmmm......
Have never used one of these. I can imagine my two though, the first time, one would be interested, happy and bouncy and do funny sack race impressions, probably all around the house. The other one would have a mega strop and be completely unable to move and once released would spend the rest of the day avoiding me.....
The second time of use... as soon as dog bag came out of storage there would be a furry flash .... and no dogs to be seen for hours !!
Could be a useful way of ensuring peace and quiet !! :rotfl:Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -

Have a look - the poor spaniel looks mortified to be wearing itand the dalmation is grinning as if he think he's had a lucky escape!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

catlou -you arent kidding..
The spaniel is definitely saying 'Why me, why do I always draw the bloody short straw on these modelling jobs? Woe is me!' - whilst the dalmation looks very smug!!
ash4becks - the fleece looks really cosy!! Doesn't contain the wet and muddy paws to the same extent as the bag tho... but allows more movement for the dog.0 -
Thanks FC!
I wasn't sure how to post it so you could actually see that great photo.
My dog goes in his crate to dry off for a bit when he gets really wet, but I would love to try him in one just to see the "sack race"!!:rotfl:

they have to be warm it can get really cold doing events on the stalls mostly between easter to hallowen which can be really cold and the dogs are normally cuddled up in the coats or if its warm during the day just put on at nite or after the beach lol they love them i put mine on ella when she asks for it :rotfl: shes only 2 but hates the cold, but there the same fleece as used by a very popular company you may no0 -
I have used something similar to the doggy bag shown, it was a zip up one and my yorkie loved it, just used to curl up and go to sleep, towel dried any excess after waking up, perfect! You live..You learn.:)0
