Lol Arfa very good idea but still no good as i only have 2 in those types of car seats!

Well the Zafira is a no no, tried yesterday with my friends and not a way in the world would the double go in and it went very flat too so out of the question! We tried moving seats to get it across the floor in the middle but it wold never work practically so back to the drawing board then! The Renault is still my second fave so will try that option next!

Thanks for the replies and help x

we had a couple of espaces and they are lovely cars. Comfortable, the seats are full size, not a bad boot space and with six of us travelling we used to take the centre seat out so the kids were in 2 rows of 2 - or the last one in used to have to sit in the back with bits of luggage which always caused a fight! They look, and are large cars, but that's because they're higher than a Zafira, not sure there's much in it length wise - and they are v similar in size to galaxy, alhambra and citroen. I really liked ours....

With the 7 seats up though would there be room for a buggy in the back do you know? as i said it is only going to be used for the kids so luggage not a prob..unless the parents expect me to take them on holiday with them!!

Thanks for the reply. Have looked at the parkers guide and mixed reviews..i think the prob is i am looking at oldish cars and expecting miracles!! think we need to save some more towards a slightly newer one so we don't end up buying some heap that requires hoards of work! Dh also thinks (as do i) that we should get whatever it is from a garage..although more in the long run i think it's a wiser move.
    Thanks x

bear in mind you will always get more negative reviews than positive
people with problem free caqrs are far less likely to post online

Well got to school this afternoon and another CM who i know parked behind me and came to the car to ask me how i had got on with the buggy with my friends car..i said a huge no no and no way of squeezing it in! she said i would be able to get a stroller (double in hers) and we had a nose in her boot! i 'think' looking at it she is right and was very pleased BUT hers cost £16k (it is 4 years old now) which is a million miles off what we want to spend..sigh! an option though..if i win the lottery!
