I would have got either a mobility scooter or my electric wheelchair in it, (on the hoist) I did not take it because they wanted too much for the better drivers seat, I could not sit in the basic. It is plenty big enough inside though.
With all seats up and in use?All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
50/50 on the double buggy.
If you only need six seats you're fine. If you use all seven, there is still a reasonable gap behind the back two seats, a flat buggy may fit in, standing on it's side.
A huge one won't.0 -

With all seats up in the Zafira, you can only fit a single umbrella style buggy. Even the twin umbrella buggies (like the Maclaren twin traveller will not fit with all seats up and occupied.
I've had a Zafira, and I've had two types of double prams (Maclaren twin traveller, and Out and About three twin three wheeler). Neither will fit, nor will a single pram. Only a single buggy, and even then it has to be a basic lightweight one.
Unless you can leave one of the seats down of course. But then I think the OP said he needs all six passenger seats up.
However, a Renault Espace - does fit a double pram with all the seats up.All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
Might want to consider a Citroen Zsara Picasso ..0

Thanks for the replys. Hmm the buggy really is the only major point for me so if it doesn't fit we don't buy grr typical! there will be me and 6 children and the twins i have don't currently walk on thier own well so it would be a nightmare without it!..my friend has one so the best thing to do is try it just to prove to myself it won't go in! it looks like it would and i was looking at the buggy today thinking i'm sure it would but now people have said no i'm back at square one!
Didn't know Citroen picassos were 7 seater..right off to nose at them now!0 -
I've got a 2000 1.6 Zafira, done about 115K. Can' really comment about prams etc as I don't have sprogs. If you were to put some in the back fold up/down seats they'd need very short legs as they're almost on the floor. Mine goes through oil quite a lot (but so have most cars I've had that are 10 years old) and gets *all sorts of stuff* chucked in the back. You need to make sure you're in the right gear/revs getting up hills and not too worried about keeping up with the speed merchants. They're quite hot in summer (lots of glass) which might be an issue with kids.
My main niggle is that with the centre bench of seats folded up and the back seats down it's 5ft length load space and about 3ftx3ft end on. 6ft length and 4ft square would be much more practical for furniture, building supplies, pallets etc. Can you spot the person who used to have a 1600 transit?)

Make sure it has a spare wheel underneath the car. They are prone to getting stolen.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
