Unbranded Desire/Legend

I am interested in the HTC Desire and Legend, but don't like the network branding that in my opinion causes problems with phones like these.

Does anyone know of any contracts that supply an unbranded Desire or Legend?

    So why not get it sim free, and a sim only contract.
    Saying that when I got my Satio from CPW it was not orange branded (had to have a orange PAYG sim with it)

    Desires will be unlocked and unbranded from CPW or P4U
    Legends are branded as they are exclusive to Voda.

    Some operators like Carphone Warehouse just have generic phones and supply them unlocked. Best phone and check thou.

    my vodafone desire is unbranded.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

    yeah all vodafone phones are unbranded BUT they are still locked

    nope mine isnt :) i use my blyk sim which runs off o2 as a carrier. Anyways branding is an issue on its own as it means slower updates.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

    My Desire from mobiles.co.uk is unbranded, not sure if it's locked to T-Mobile though

    as far as i know three network desire phones are unlocked and unbranded but future desires from three may be branded and locked as they were testing their branded software and were supposed to release it for new stock but as far as i know have not yet released the branded locked stuff yet.
