I had a really good article on procrastination and I can't find it. It's probably in a corner somewhere with the book on clearing your clutter

I know with me it's all about being judged. I am very good at procrastinating on difficult tasks, and very good at not finishing things so that I can't be judged on them!

    B

i found an article which also suggested it a fear of attachment - quote ' Fear of attachment: Rather than fearing separation, some people procrastinate in order to create a barrier between themselves and others. They may delay in order to create chaos in their lives, believing that the chaos will keep other people away.'

    which is an interesting view.

the weight thing is basically because I have such a huge amount to lose but I have a long, long way to go before I will even feel I'm getting anywhere. Granted it is the best start I've ever had to a diet and so far I'm a bit impressed with myself for toeing the line so tightly!!

I'm so pleased for you BB, and maybe just a teensy bit jealous. How did you do it?
