What small DFW things have you done on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June??

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
:D
:jGood morning chaps - been up since 6am, so much to do today, getting sorted so I'm starting the thread!!!:j

Oh how I love starting the thread:rotfl: - Milly lovely to see you starting things yesterday :A

Its also good for the planet as well as your pockets as we are reducing use/reusing things and recycling where we can for new and old stuff

:hello:Morning Morning! :hello:
Thank you for starting the thread lovely Fay!
Well, I had an absolutely fantastic night last night - a lovely friend picked me and another friend up and we had a couple of drinks in a lovely pub garden in the city. We then went onto another friend's end of uni party and it was great - lovely BBQ and sitting outside all evening chatting and having a few glasses of vino! Lovely friend who drove me in also drove me home
In at 1am, slightly tired now! Was the perfect way to the end the uni year :j
Not got much planned for this weekend, relaxing time....- NSD
- Long walk down the beach with pup (whose new 'hair do' is great!)
- Catch up with yesterday's BB

- DH at work this morning then visiting and out with his friends this evening and staying over in his home town
- A chance therefore for me to potter about the house this afternoon - bliss!
- Admire the list I made yesterday of summer uni reading to do!
- Finish gardening book and write down ideas
- Quick tidy of house
- Popping across the road to watch the football with a friend/neighbour tonight. Perfect opportunity for some girlie time as her little 'uns will be in bed (and great for me too as I don't want to go 'out' and watch the football but did want to watch it with someone if that makes sense)
- Relaxing and sparkling!

Lovely sunny day here today and it's the weekend..yay!!
Thanks for starting the thread Fay
Enjoy the camping Littlekel – hope the weather’s good for you
Lovely to see you on the thread yesterday Milly
I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather this week and have woken up today with a great big mouth ulcer just under my top lip…yuck! Will have to try to take care of myself this weekend, lots of vitamins and a bit of pampering methinks!
So today I will:
- Check bank and update spreadsheet
- Pay CC
- Surveys
- Lots of HC (still trying to catch up on backlog from holiday)
- Sort through CDs and see what can go to M-Magpie
- Have a look to see how much we can get for OHs old mobile
- Possibly go to Costco later and keep to budget
- Plenty of Flylady-ing to do today after a busy week in work
- Possibly a nice bubble bath at the end of the day to chill
Think that’ll be enough for today. Back later to catch up.

Hi all, gosh you all sound so busy today! Today is my little T's 5th birthday so we will be spending the day celebrating. He was very pleased with his presents which were mostly Ben10 related and 'grabbits' so actually we spent relatively little on them.

Today I also:
1) Sold B's old bike and T's old Leappad for £35. This money will go to them.
2) Checked banking (yuk), quidco and did SC.
3) School tete later for cheap fun.
4) Party at Pizza Hut for T, my niece and their chums. It is actually surprisingly cheap.
5) Hokey cokey drying in the sunshine.
6) Look forward to Doctor Who tonight, and posibly watch the football - but the sound of the trumpetty things the spectators are playing is driving me round the twist so I don't know if I will manage it!
Enjoy your weekends / camping / moving and see you later, L x0 -
Morning everyone.
* An ebayer has confused me about my ebay listing, so I will need DH to check the item and see if it is what I described it as or the non-bidder described it as
Need to resolve this incase my listing is misleading.
* RM Survey posting done
* checked onepoll - no surveys
*focus today is housework, which will save me money shopping at least
