I must admit I'm confused. It's getting late, I'm tired and it doesn't take much:p Surely they were going to put the soft drink you didn't have into an empty cup? So to me it should be the same price. hotdog plus empty cup £1.50 (regardless if filled with fizzy pop or tap water). How much do you mean they charged in total for your daughter's meal plus tap water drink?
That's the way I see it as well. £1.50 = Hot Dog + Drink. Hot Dog + Chips = 90p. Hot Dog = 45p. See here
Nothing to stop you filling the cup up with Pepsi once the tap water has gone.0 -
Just a note for next time, on the pop dispensers they have lingonberry juice, which isn't fizzy, my dd doesn't drink fizzy stuff either and loves this stuff!
Also if you get a ikea family card, tea and coffee are free on weekdays, as I don't drink either I fill mine up with pepsi:p:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly0 -

No that's an urban myth.0 -
There are some pubs at least round here who have signed up to a voluntary thing to give out free soft drinks.
But back to Ikea, I bought a half-decent lamp for £3, I would feel almost obliged to pay 60p for a cup of water.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -

yep.. you're right (looking at the receipt again!)... 45p for the hot dog and chips each then 60p for the water... this isn't clear from the sign, I thought it was 50p for everything......:doh:0
