I've just listed my first item on ebay to try and make some money - signed England shirt that I've had for 13 years! but its been at my parents house since I moved out 7 years ago so I'm not that attached to it, hopefully it will make a little bit of money.

Need to find more things to list now, hopefully it'll all be worthwhile.

I emailled the FA about refereeing yesterday to see if there was anyway I could get back into refereeing without having to take the whole course again and save £75. I can re-register by taking a written exam without doing the whole course again - but I still have to have a CRB check (£12), even though I'm teacher, then attend a Safeguarding children workshop (£18) and pay my reaffiliation fees (£15), so £45 outlay but possible earnings of £20-£50 per week depending on how many games I referee.
Looks like a good way to earn some much needed cash.

Yay - get cracking with the CRB. When can you do the workshop?

No idea, I need to arrange a time to go in and do the written examination and sort the CRB, then arrange the workshop after that.

That's great! How so annoying re crb if it's already valid in one job why does it need re doing? Good luck and yes it's a nice money earner I you can be available for the jobs :-)

Have increased the sale on the website and got a few orders in.
Am having serious thought of selling a couple of the kids on ebay - not to raise cash but just for my own sanity!

Have had 18 orders through the website this afternoon/evening due to the sale so feel like I have had quite a productive day.

We (well DH really) are in the phone to CCCS as looking at our figures we can battle and work like crazy fools to meet the mortgage payments, pay the minimums on our cards and pay a tiny bit extra on our highest rate debt but essentially we will be busting a gut to make very little inroad into the actual debt so if there is any way we can lower the interest rates then we will be able to make so much more difference. Fingers crossed we get somewhere with them.
