    Yes I do thanks Takoda.

(That second post was in response to a rebuke from Proc, which he/she appears to have deleted now. I'll take that as an apology.)

"We are sorry for the delay, and we are sorry for sending you a message yesterday that suggested there was a problem with your order and that prompted you to queue for 40 minutes to get through to us only to find out there was no problem whatsoever and we didn't even need to speak to you, and today we're sorry for ringing you at home when we were supposed to ring your mobile, and we're sorry for making you queue for another 21 minutes to return our missed call, and we're sorry but you're through to the wrong department and unfortunately the department you need to speak to has a reeeeally long queue so because you seem to be a bit miffed we'll get someone to call you back instead of keeping you waiting, that will give you a chance to calm down a bit".

It could be worse, they could have Sting or Barry Mannilow singing songs while you are on hold :D

Oh I don't know, I quite like a bit of Mannilow. I'm sure Copa Cabana would have kept me in a better mood while I waited.

They've still not called me back.

OP, I feel your pain, my blood pressure goes off the scale sometimes, having to deal with this sort of thing, and of course, you can't raise your voice or get stroppy when you eventually get through can you? oh no...

"if you would like me to help you, then I suggest you refrain from getting agitated or being sarcastic. I can hear it in your tone of voice and its disturbing my karma."

Of course, no-one has ever said that to me, but some of them do get the 'ump if you have the temerity to be sarky with them! I never swear at people but i can be v sarcastic, its my 'revenge' but then they get revenge by putting me on hold for 14 hours or simply cutting me off!

Finally, "your call is important to us, please continue to hold..."

"Your call is important to us" must be one of the most stupid arrangements of 5 words in the English Language.
