For my mum's 75th my sister and I took ourselves and the kids (aged 3 to 13) to a china painting shop and covered a plate with handprints. I guess it counts as a knicknack but it's a very personal one and she loves it.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
