Tis good except the gfx.. if your going to be gaming you need to look for lappys with ATI or Nvidia graphics cards in with at least 128mb.. not an onboard one
Everything else is great thoguh so if your not gaming, go for it.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

why do companys bother to put together a high spec laptop like that and spoil it with shared bleedin graphics?0 -
lol showman I agree completely.
Anyway for £800 you can get a decent gaming laptop. Check out Dell Factory Outlet (the uk store).
Look at the high end spec Inspiron's. They have similar spec's with decent graphics card for around the same price range.
Dell Factor Outlet is a reseller. It sells returned (but not fault or damaged) goods. So you still have warranty and it still is guarenteed to work. I bought fromt here.. amazing[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

If you aren't bothered about games on it, just buy one for half the price, and buy another higher specced one for the same money in 2 years time with vista on it.
You can't future proof anything in IT, especially laptops, so if you buy cheap, you can get a laptop in the future with the money you have saved. If you want to game, get a desktop.
