Just found this page http://www.gilpa.co.uk/frame_productrange.php?site=djohn&page=productrange&category=3&product=8&stage=1
It recommends approx 15g per kg body weight a day, which would work out at approx 10p per day for a 15kg dog, so yes much cheaper and quite similar in analysis to the Burns food0 -

I just did state what it costs:
If you have a look at online store, you'll see that their basic varieties cost £6.35 for 2kg, £17.86 for 7.5kg and £34.65 for 15kg.
This link will show you the approximate cost for feeding Burns per day.
No, I am not an agent for Burns, I do not gain from the links, or have any financial interest in Burns. I am merely a very satisfied customer. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -

The OP did not specify what size bag/sack would be required for under £20 - so don't be sorry - I did read it."No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -
Rosie75 wrote:No I don't sell it. TBH, you are coming across as having a bit of a problem re. Burns - I could ask if you work for the competition! OP asked for a decent quality feed that wasn't too expensive and as myself and another poster have pointed out you need to feed your dog a much smaller quantity (about half or a third) of Burns than you would a cheaper food, making it the same price or cheaper in the long run. I don't think under £2 a week is a lot to feed a medium-sized dog at all.
.We are trying to assist posters who are on a tight budget ,if you are a rich pet pamperer feed what-ever you wantTo be happy you need to make someone happy.0
