CPW returns..or not?

I bought a Moto L7 from CPW in mid july and, within my 7 day cool down period, changed my mind as I had found a better deal (cheeky :A I know, but if they dont have the best deals, what do they expect?). I sent the phone back, after 15 mins on hold to get the address, via special delivery, so I have proof of delivery (it's brilliant since I last used it, with the ability to see the signiture of the reciever online). I waited a while, and when I recieved my bank statement, I had no refund.:mad: I called to check on the 18th of August, and was told that they had no record of recieving my phone:mad: ,when I said I had proof, they said all they could do was to contact the warehouse who would contact me (which has not happened:mad: ). I Sent then an email on the 24th, to which I have had no reply. :mad:

Sorry about the long story, but I need to knwo what to do now. I would drop the names like "small claims court" and "trading standards" but i dont know if this would have any effect or even be read, plus I have no idea, and, being a student, little funds and time to back this up. Please impart your wisdom upon to me as to what to do? I am at a loss?:confused:

    First it will be worth reading all that CPW say about themselves in either their brochure or on the internet. Anything that is relevant to your own situation is information worth having. Then write or email the chairman's office or His personal email. Be polite but strong in your letter and they should help you.
  • Before you sent the parcel back, did you phone them up to ask for a returns authorisation code?

    I've returned a couple of times, despite the instructions say never send back without the returns auth code, their customer service team insisted that I don't need one.

    On both occasions I phoned back until someone agreed to provide me with the code.

    Was this through debit card or credit card? Either way I would contact the card issuer - or account holding bank - and see if they are able to help and do a chargeback?
