    Banks will usually do something for you for these kinds of circumstances.

    He has won £10 from using piggy points which are free ... and maybe he could buy a birth certificate with his £10 but he will need to get the money to pay for it but he can't because HE HASN'T GOT A BANK ACCOUNT!!!

    I sometimes wonder the same. When I tried to open a Halifax account it was a right pain. I think a utility bill with his name on it should be enough along with his name on the electrol register.
