Please help!! Npower £5000 / £2000 bill even though they admit its their fault!!!!

I think they would of used an average per day, if in doubt write down how much you use each day. I dont think consumer focus can tell any energy provider how a customer must pay a debt back as it would be classed as a commercial decision. I know you say your property isnt big but compared to houses out of your area how big is your house, is it detached etc?0

Cardew clearly has access to information used by NPOWER and should be commended for this more than likely works for them please cardew when you next pop over to read my meter come stay the whole day and see our meter, see what we use, me and the mrs will make you a big pot of tea and give you a ew fondent fancies for your trouble then maybe just maybe you wouldnt dicredit someone so easily and you will see everything as we have - thanks everyone for your supportive advice as we already put we have paid the bill and WONT be touching NPOWER again, now.. just got to pick a decent supplier now and ensure that we are in control and not their broken computers.0

It seems to me that everyone is in agreement on this thread.
I am only repeating your statements - which are:
1. Your new meter was set as 0(zero) 3 years ago.
2. It is now at 42,356 - that means you have used between £5,000 and £6,000 worth of electricity.
3. The meter is not faulty.
4. Npower have written off £3,000 of the debt you owed.
Much as Npower are an awful company, you have been treated extremely well in this situation.
You just seem to be in denial.0
