Log in, find the message you want to reply to and click on the big blue 'quote' button at the bottom.
The original message will appear above, and you just have to type your reply in underneath.
If you don't want the whole of the original text to appear (might have been a very long message) you can delete parts but make sure you leave the 1st 'quote text' in square brackets, and the end 'quote text' also in square brackets. (as I've done above to your reply)
Simples!

Hey look at you getting all techno savvy.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Hope it was just the car that got battered and you are still all in one piece?
'Twitty'
Thanks for your concern Twitty. No injuries thank goodness, but that kerb was most inconsiderate getting in my way and at that speed too.
I've had some trouble with Nat West as well. Apparently I haven't met the 'triggers'. So got back to CCCS and have agreed with them to offer another £50 a month which divided among 12 preditors will go a long way to paying off Nat West, but it's not about how much you pay according to the nice man at Nat West but it's about meeting your 'triggers'. Well that's nice to know.
Good luck with the plan Twitty, hope it goes well.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Hope all is well with everyone else and have a lovely weekend

I have just started a DMP with CCCS. It is all starting to go through and first payment goes out on 1st Sept. I had a call today from
K and Co at Shop Direct Group saying that I was in arrears and they needed payment today. I explained about the DMP and they say they have not heard anything about it. I have sent them a letter and CCCS have contacted them so I doubt this is true. I kept saying that CCCS would contact them if they ahd not already with an offer. She then went on to say that this would be alengthy process and she kept asking if I could make a gesture payment there and then on the phone.
I was also told by preditors too that setting up a DMP would take two to three months and I should make payments now. I didn't pay either and my DMP was up and running in several weeks. This is just another under hand tactic to extract money that you don't have.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Hi All,
I just had to post because I have decided the Banks are mad:rotfl: When I started mt DMP I decided to stay with Barclays (due to the agreement they have with CCCS) but I moved to a basic bank account and my current account and loans defaulted.
I am about 1/2 way through DMP and payments have been slowly increased over this time. I also have a Barclaycard which has remained with them and has reduced interested.
Well I was  today when I signed onto my online banking and a message saying I had been pre-selected to have a barclaycard with an extended 0% balance transfer period of 21mnths. I have been conducting my new account perfectly but it just seems a bit bonkers. Its a shame I cant take it as it would mean I cld move some of the hellifax debt (charging full interest as Im not in financial difficulty!!!!!! Paying above minimum payment)
Perhaps the banks need us all to spend more to keep their balance sheets looking good.
Hope this crackers behaviour has also made someone else smile today.

Hi all,
Im thinking of managing my own DMP and was wondering if anyone here had experience of doing this successfully??
Also could anyone give me guidance on what to put in my first letter to creditors offering lower payments and asking for interest and charges to be stopped?
Many thanks

Have a look here, quite a good source for letters and templates.
