Thanks everyone for that. I was having a bad day. I am on dmp plan for at least the forseeable future as the debt since Aug has not gone down I dont know if it is me ! car gone wrong asking mum for help again and to top it all cut my finger on knife! But on the upside I found out that it is "Blue Monday" so should be feeling better tomorrow. (Hope So)
Thanks again, looking through these pages I dont feel that I am alone in my Big Debt problem there is some really good advice.
I have today also placed some items on ebay for selling hopefully I can send that money direct to CCCS to reduce my debt. I have got myself a tin which I put money in each day to raise some cash.Debt Free No. 403

Yes. Toots, everyone on here is so good when you are having a minging day!! They all understand that awful feeling that swamps you sometimes. Well done for turning it round and being positive (What's the alternative?!!) and good luck with EBay.:)

I'm also on a downer, my cat has injured her leg and we need to take her to the vets..hopefully this won't cost too much but what if it does? We've no savings since we only started the DMP last November..0

Went to my redetermination hearing this morning, and it was absolutely fine! OH came with me (as soon as I said 'court' he cacked his pants!) and thought I'd be in front of judge and jury, swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth etc etc.
My payment for MBNA has been upped by the judge from £16something to £20, which is fine, and I will have to go back in Sept to have it reviewed, as I told them that DS starts full time school in Sept, so childcare costs will drop, and I will be able to increase my payment. I also pointed out that the initial recommendation from the CCCS was to go bankrupt, rather than the 18 year DMP that I'm on
Just need to call CCCS in the morning to let them know, then wait to see who's next! Egg and First Direct have been fine, todays judgement was for my Virgin card, and I suspect the BT card (also MBNA) will go the same way....

To all of those with Payplan
Just to let you know, we have got to the end of our plan, and the fact that Payplan might be able to get excess charges etc written off, hasn't happened, on any of our 10 creditors. I've asked them to confirm to me that this has definitely been done, but so far, i've been told that Terms do this, but nothing is guaranteed.
Just wanted to let you know, as I know this has been a topic a few times.DFD February 2012

Hey Ian
It's another 14 months, but that's mainly due to Lloyds TSB and all the problems i had with added charges on that one. But overall, 14 months longer than what was originally planned. Only 2/10 have finished on time.DFD February 2012
