also the brochures usually have a small bit of small print stating that they can amend the spec at any time.

Not yet they dont. I think that comes in next year.

It took me no longer than 2 minutes reading of the TT brochure to determine that the LED DRLs are only standard on the S-line and TTS, and not even available as an option on any other trim level:
