Hello there,

I ordered an audi TT in May, this Monday dealer called me saying the order is gone through the system and going to be built in end of July.

the problem I have now is, the Car will not have LED headlight, and the dealer said once order is gone through the system, and I can not upgrade to s-line to have LED.

I really feel been misled,

here is what my car exact spec built use Audi configurator,

the link here is a screen shot, please copy to browser

you need to remove the space between bd and 73 ( new to MSE, there got to have lots of spams before)
clearly got LED !!!, and all their press release , and brochure got sport model with LED,

and the car I will get will not have that .

I phoned audi customer service and dealer ,they said once gone through the system , nothing can be changed .

what should I do now ? really gutted

many thanks for any help!

Why does it not have LED lights?
If its the case the design has changed or similar the terms etc will certainly allow for this.
I also suspect LED lights isnt particularly material to the car or your thought process which may make a breach of contract cancellation difficult.
  • If you have ordered a car thats supposed to have LED's and it doesn't then contract unfulfilled.

Refuse car, and go buy someone's car who values their customers....Lexus would be a good first port of call.

Personally i detest the wretched LED thingies, they make a car look like it's owned by some young lad who's spent all his pocket money on helfords tack.

Do you have an order form in your possession that specifies that the car you've agreed to purchase will have these headlights?

    Hi thanks for your replies,

it is tricky, because it was dead obviously for me to assume the car got LED, all the pic I saw are with LEDs.

and it is not listed in contract. so they could argue.

    and I paid £1000 deposit

    Sorry but not a chance.
All the pictures will have a term stating pictures for illustration etc. Does anything anywhere state LED's are standard on your car or on your form state you are getting them?

Did all the pictures have words to the effect of "model shown is XXX" and therefore didn't apply to the model you were buying?

This is a genuine question I'm not just trying to be a pain in the a*se (for once!)
  • Remember what Jeremy Clarkson said about LED's on Audi's , he said "a cool car spoiled by a halfords visit to get LED eyeliner fitted..." , to be honest mate LED's do not make a car , the car makes the car and Audi's are great , would have got an RS6 myself.

hi , ok, a big company such as audi will have all the T&C well writen.

I have now found the words in the print out,

    "
Images and photographs on this site are for general guidance only. They do not necessarily illustrate the UK specifications of the cars or any
    other products.

Can you see them when you are driving the car?

Ask for some free services as compensation. You save about £800, it only costs them about £200 - a win win.
