ipod & m&s vouchers 1st 5000 signups

hi all i'm new here
i got an email from MSE saying that i could get a free ipod and £25 m&s vouchers if i was 1 of the 1st 5000 signups i tried online but couldnt get the page so i rang up and i was told the offer was on and i was within the 1st 5000 if i signed up today for a sky+ package which i did, i paid the £30 for installation and then took an £18pm package. the guy on the phone told me i would recieve the gifts after 45 days had passed on my account being activated.
i was away for the nxt month work related but when i came back i rang them up and they told me the promotion was only for ppl who had reccommended me too sky
where do i stand now
any suggestions
can sky do this???
