Hi Guys ,
Why does eBay allow bidders to win your item then when they do not pay either because they dont have the cash, are fraudulent, just like annoying folk to leave you negative feedback when it is clear they have only won an item to get under your skin and also if the winner is a complete tool and is only looking to upset people they have 2 powers , they can leave negativ feedback even when they do not pay and also they can reject your request to cancel a transaction that THEY caused to fail just to prevent you from having your eBay fee reimbursed the Final Valuation Fee its called , its a joke and surely eBay are making millions off innocent folk by permitting these buyers to ruin listings and generate more money for eBay , is it possible eBay plants fake buyers to do just this.......

But this is just a tiny minority of buyers. I have been selling on ebay for 5 years and have only had a few people mess me around compared to the hundreds of hassle free buyers. My daughters are my world0

Yeah I am the same just when I have been trying to sell a few items these minority really get under my skin and eBay could really do with giving the seller some protection because negative feedbacks effect future prospective sales and the fact eBay can take a slice of your "winning bidders payment" even when they do not pay is so frustrating , eBay takes their fee before a payment is made and that I feel is wrong.0

if you dont like ebay dont use it, if a buyer doesnt pay open an NPB, get your fees back and buyer cant neg you0

eBay is a good way to get rid of unwanted items I own so like the millions around the world I enjoy using it , my point was that itd be nice to have some seller protection too because the buyer is protected to the hilt yet the seller has a lot to lose due to like i said....a minority.0

Like sunnysea says, if they don't pay wait 4 days open an NPB and close it 4 days later. That guarantees you get your FVFs back and if they don't respond it means they can't leave feedback either.
I don't understand why you would do a mutual?
Also, remember to set your seller preferences very tight, you can now exclude bidders with 2 or more non paying strikes, it weeds out a huge amount of time wasters.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Please do what Soolin says. The only irritation then is the time wasting, which is minor.
And if you believe people have bid purely with the intention of leaving you negative feedback you can report the feedback to ebay and get it removed.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Hi there
Another piece of advice, keep all your proof of postings until the 60 days have passed, I have had a couple in the last wee while how have got in touch at 56 days (!) and said that they haven't recieved item an opened a not recieved thingy. Have ended up refunding refunding straight away because I had thrown the prrof of postings out after a month or so. I always tell people whn items have been posted. Once lady I refunded thanked me within two nano seconds, I have my doubts that the £15 piece of clothing hadn't arrived as she said. Would you wait almost 2 months to get in touch??Sealed pot challenge member no 1057

Once I sold a pair of shoes and the girl messaged after a week said she hadn't received them. I was unsure what to do as never had this before but went through the procedure refunded her money and reclaimed mine through Post Office. So a week later I was shocked when she left posotive feedback saying "love the shoes, Thanks" I may have got my money back but she got a free pair of shoes????0

I know there are some real scammers out there , I sold a mobile phone last year for over £300 and the guy left me positive feedback then 3 days later said he lost it and wanted me to claim off my home insurance so he could buy another by saying I lost it !!!! , then another bought an item but paid via an eCheque which takes something like 10-15 days to clear and seriously pestered me to post the item saying an eCheque was payment but they can fail if funds cannot be provided for , and when i refused to post until payment cleared he left me my only negative feedback out of 329 transactions so i reported it to eBay and they did nothing except send me "how did you rate our response survey"....they really know how to frustrate folk0

The OP seems to enjoy having a rant, I go as far to say they world revolves around it0
