Going back to work on Monday week, part time for the first two weeks part of me is pleased and part of me is not. Ah well what's gotta be done.
Looks like a right love fest in here yesterday lol0 -
Morning all. Good to see you are getting better Moneypenny. Do enjoy today. Dont worry about work. The nice people will have missed you and focus on the fun bits of the job. It used to be my raison d'etre now it is a legal way to fund my life!
Swan fan do you have hiccups (rubbish joke!!!!). Drink water when you watch the footy.
Can someone tell me whether i need to amend the football chart in anyway. I do hope we have not been knocked out already. It will be a tremendous morale boost for the country if we survive to a high up match (dont know technical terms).
I hope Ann had a fab time yesterday in London.
Everyone have a fab day.

Good morning.
Spent yesterday in the garden alternating between weeding and reading up on stuff trying to prepare myself for the interview. I'm a nervous wreck already!!savingwannabe wrote: »Can someone tell me whether i need to amend the football chart in anyway. I do hope we have not been knocked out already. No, you don't need to amend the football chart - not yet anyway. That was just the first game in the group stages and we have another 2 games in the group.
The score waas 1-1. Can England please find a goalie who doesn't fumble the ball and let the other side get a goal.0 -

Morning everyone,
Am back to reality today!
Have been reading all the posts and catching up with you have all been up to. And it seems as if you have all been busy while I was gallivanting!
Didn't get in until after 11 last night so was too tired to log on! It was a very long day but I thoroughly enjoyed it - visited National and Tate galleries and sat outside drinking wine and eating pasta. Didn't spend much money, either - only "window shopped" in the sort of shops I would have never bought stuff from even in my most spendthrift days! Think it did me good to get away but am very tired today.
No surprises from yesterday's post - which had actually been delivered before I got in!
Not very good weather here this morning - am just going to chill with the newspaper.
Sorry to hear about England - although they haven't lost yet! Can't we get a better goalkeeper from anywhere else?

What did you expect, Robert Green is an ex-Norwich goalkeeper. This wasn't mentioned(much) in the pub last night!:p
Bet it was chaos in the pub last night!
People were just pouring into the pubs when I left London - and there were hardly any cars with flags on the roads!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
