Ann - glad you enjoyed your trip out yesterday - life goes on - you would not have believed that in February would you??

SW - so pleased your sugar levels are good and delighted that you actually got a good night's sleep

I watched all the matches yesterday but still managed to put some items on eBay while watching - sitting now watching the other two teams in our group Algeria and Slovenia - worse kwap than England/USA - not very exciting at all but still watching it - must be mad.

England still have to play Algeria on Friday 18th and Slovenia on Wed 23rd before we know if they go through to last 16

    Niddy's back tonight aint he?

    Thsnks 3Dogs,

Your comments are so true! Life does indeed go on - and in February I would not even dream of thinking this far ahead! But, the wonderful people on here have helped me tremendously - for which I am eternally grateful. It does make me realise that I am not on my own in all this - which is so important!

Can't comment on the football - really don't understand it, except for the fact everyone is going to go after that poor goal keeper! Well, possibly with the exception of Niddy!

It's been really sunny here after early morning drops of rain but it is coming over black now so I think I'd better bring my washing in 'cause I think we are going to get a downpour

Jenni how lovely. Are we allowed to ask what the position is? I would hire you to be my personal chef any day.

Am finally cooking curry. Yum! and also roasting drumsticks at same time. After 2 months i am finally getting ahold of this MSE cooking malarkey. Plus it is really healthy. No crisps since last weekend. Oh my gosh, i miss them soooooo much. I have been chewing on olives as i have had salt cravings. I dont think they are too healthy either. I am missing them out of my food diary i think!!!

oh my gosh. I thought so. You sound like a fantastic cook. You dont need any advice babe, 5 seconds with you and they will know you are brilliant at it.

I love hearing about your cooking. It always cheers me up!!!

One day, not in the next year as i have lots planned including paying for loads of furniture, i would like to do one of those fun cooking courses where you learn whilst on hols. You might consider it. You would make a fortune from people like me!!!!

3 dogs, mum and dad just rang to tell me it is raining in Birmingham too. It will rain here at 10pm ish. So far it is lovely. After my food I must mow grass. So many weeds at front of house v little grass mostly weeds. Back garden is glorious and luckily largely weed free!!!

One day my garden will be bootiful but till now i at least try to mow lawn.
