And I think we should have an English anthem - any suggestions? I know the Rugby chaps have Swing Low Sweet Chariot.

    Good idea Nargie,

I like the idea of Swing Low Sweet Chariot.

Also, I think the cricket team have Jerusalem - might be unofficial, though.

Perhaps we should start a little survey on here .....

Don't think we have an "English" anthem. I knew that the rugby team play "Flower of Scotland" - do they do this for the football, as well?

Also, someone said the other day that most of the English players do not even sing the national anthem!

Land of Hope & Glory is what you used to use (England)..... now you sing the British anthem, cos you're all sooo ermmm [STRIKE]clever[/STRIKE] dippy :rotfl:

    Postman has just been!

He was half an hour early today - and there was an absolute mountain of stuff!

Am going to read through it but will almost certainly be scanning and emailing some of them to you, Niddy. Pretty please!

Am not hassling you, though, honestly!

You have a very late postie........, saying that ours went through stage of delivering between 4-5pm, for almost 6 months, now they deliver by half 1pm.

Saying that there are only 17 houses in my street and the main of the addresses and surrounding addresses are all pretty similar, apart from the Road/Close/Gardens and Green, this does confuse the postman big time.:o

    Thanks Niddy,

    Will do that!

It looks as if there are going to be 3 to be emailed - and one is absolutely huge!

Just checking the status of them before I start the scanning!

Should keep me quiet for a bit!

    I know Di,

    It is a right pain!

It has been after 4 all this week - so just after 3:30 was early from him! Especially as there was so much for me!!!

Hi Ann, I hope none of your post concerns or stresses you out. Remember we're all here to support you ! I'm imagining a Braveheart scene where NID is leading the charge against the nasty bankers with the rest of us doing what we can!
